For this workshop we were given the song 'We are never ever getting back together' By Taylor Swift. We had to lip sync to the song and make a mini music video using a range of shots. We had to use a long shot, mid shot and a close up of each group member. We did this plus a few extra shots such as establishing shots. 

By doing this workshop we learnt that it's important to film in a certain way for music video. It is essential to film the entire song, even if you're only going to use a 4 second clip, this is because it makes the editing much easier. 

In editing, because of how we filmed it, we were able to just add markers to our clips in the same place every time. This ensured that our footage lined up with the sound track for successful lipsyncing. 

 

I will definitely take these strategies forward into filming and editing my final music video, as I feel I've learnt a lot from this workshop.
